Marc received a Bachelor of Science Degreein Education from Ohio University. At OU, Marc played club lacrosse. Following graduation, Mr. Carlson taught four years at Newark High School. Currently, Marc is enjoying his 7th year as a Special Education Teacher at Dublin Coffman High School.

Marc has been an assistant Middle School lacrosse coachin Dublin for the past six years. He coached the winners of the Division II Middle School State Championship in 2002 and the Division III Middle School State Championship in 2003. Marc resides in Dublin with his wife, Melissa and their three children, five year old son, Nicholas, and two year old twin daughters, Alexandra and Amara.
